The Christmas season is usually quite stressful but I’m here to help make it easier. I have some amazing holiday recipes to share with you. In fact, I’ve designed an entire menu for you so you don’t have to fret over what to make at all. This menu includes a classic Wellington with gravy, a terrine , ricotta cheese, and a Christmas dessert log that will leave all your relatives filled with wonder. You will learn how to make truffles, make them and take them home.
The Wellington is made with a simple pastry and filled with a mixture of mushrooms, chestnuts, and walnuts. It is the perfect centerpiece to the holiday meal. The nuts give it a meaty-type texture and the gravy makes it an absolutely luxurious dish. This Wellington will satisfy even the most determined meat-eaters in your family.
Tofu terrine and ricotta cheese are beautiful and flavorful accompaniments to the Wellington. Best of all, they are both very easy to make and round out the meal perfectly.
A holiday meal isn’t complete without a rich, stunning dessert and this Christmas log does that easily. It combines pumpkin, almond butter, and maple syrup and is a show-stopper. Plus, it’s absolutely delicious. It is a treat for all the sweet-tooth’s in your family.
At this workshop, we will also talk about other holiday issues that can cause stress. The most common problem faced by plant-based folks is dealing with family and friends who don’t eat like this and often don’t understand it. I will talk about ways to handle this that will hopefully make family meal-time a lot easier to manage. I will also discuss how to do holiday shopping without going insane.
